The Mancers. A group of super-humans who live among us. They can transmute, teleport, seek, and camouflage. They practice magery and the control of time. They are wanted by the government because the world is scared of what they can do. And I'm one of them. Emma is a young mancer. All mancers can transmute, or turn one object into another, and teleport. At the age of 16, each mancer chooses what excess branch of magic they want to study under; Magery, Seeking, Time Warp, Camouflage, or Cosmic Studies. Those with a perfect record can choose two to study under. But, nobody has gotten a perfect record in years. The Mancers are divided based on what they practice and Emma's family practices seeking. She doesn't want to disappoint them, but she's tired of the Mancers being divided. She wants to bring them together. When she is chosen as a pupil with a perfect record her dream can become a reality. But then the Mancer hideout is compromised. Everyone must split up and flee to survive. When Emma runs into magic fanatic, Parker Hawk, he will stop at nothing to save her from being captured. With an imposing darkness covering the world and the Mancers being the only ones to stop it, will the world let their prejudice get in the way of their salvation?
