It's that time of year! The summer has come once again, and with the excitement of the clubs the Gems joined, Lapis' sports, and the three traveler's one-year arrival anniversary getting closer, what could go wrong? The troubles of their dangerous hometown has been left behind, thrown into the dust.
At least, that's what they thought.
More and more people-including Gems-have left their hometown to get to safer states and areas; but the loss of staff and obedience reaches the highest steps on the ladder, forcing the three remaining Gem leaders to take back their 'subjects'.
