Isabella Darling craves only one thing - her parents approval. Never being particularly academic, sporty, or thin, her childhood was full of disappointing grade cards and juice diets. Not to mention her shameful secret girlfriend. Now, as a 22 year old working in early childhood in Oregon, she must return to her hometown in Mississippi when her father becomes ill. There, she'll discover secrets about her family and things about herself that she wouldn't have known if she continued to run away.
