Thomas Hemswort vanished after a late-night bar visit. A week later, a tip led Detective Kyo Montealto and Inspector Jacob Forest to an abandoned building where they found Hemswort's decaying corpse and a cryptic note. A month passed. Inspector Forest, still investigating, was found dead in his car in the police parking lot, another identical note beside him: "omnis dignus est mori."
