Prologue

Hannah Dawson is a Vesper pilot, one of the most advanced augmented human beings in existence. She thought she was bringing her family honor until the day she steps foot on the surface of a world she was ordered to destroy.

Every idea that Hannah had about honor is destroyed in the settling dust of New Caledonia. Swearing she'll never participate in such destruction again, she is swept up in the Purge, as all augmented humans are ordered held in prison for the crime of being an augment.
