Izuku Midoriya was heartbroken after the number one hero, All Might, told him he couldn't become a hero without a quirk. He needed to be alone, to process being refused his dreams for the second time in his life. That's when he was approached by Shiguraki, who told him he could be useful yet, and so Deku became a villain.
