Chapter 1

Ella is the kind of noblewoman who prefers jousting and sparring to cooking and cleaning. When she meets her betrothed, she is expecting the worst. Over time, she begins to realize that her husband actually loves the things that she hates--designing their home, monitoring the servants, and planning elaborate parties. Through an untraditional open marriage, she begins to find herself falling in love with him.

This is a mature story that explores the sexuality of characters who are challenging the confinements of gender. There are straight, gay, and bisexual characters.
