When Makeda a.k.a Duchess Topaz and her twin brother Mansa move back to Riverdale after years of being away, to help their cousin Toni take care of their grandpa, they're forced to attend Southside High. Riverdale is nothing like what Makeda thought it would be with the hardcore drug Jingle Jangle spreading like wildfire, the rampage of the Blackhood, and rivalry gangs. Can Makeda handle the pressure of not only Riverdale, but Serpent initiation? Can she handle the tall and dark Serpent that seems to come with all the trouble?
