Prologue

Claire Pierce is an assassin. In all honesty, though, she doesn't want to be. She only does it to protect herself and her younger brother Nate.
When Claire is sent on a mission to murder a man named Jared Ross, she thinks nothing of it. Her mission is forwarded to the France headquarters, and she must kill him from there. But when Claire begins to fall for Jared, problems arise. The Protectors are against her, and a silent enemy is among them all. What lengths are Claire willing to reach, before her world crumbles around her?
