Cyris wakes up in an unfamiliar, cage-like box, shooting upwards. When she is out, she is in the Glade, full of Gladers. Cyris is the only girl and has lots of sarcasm, intelligence and knows how to kick your butt!

But the only thing she can remember (besides her name) is that she has a rival, and his name is Newt. She has to break his heart to succeed. What is she succeeding, she doesn't know. But there are rules. 1) No killing and 2) No falling in love. She has a lot to lose if she does either...
