Lucas never thought he would get off the streets. No one ever did without help.

Who would of thought a single handful of cash would change Lucas's life, getting him his first and only job- the apprentice to an assassin?

Averie is tired of training new apprentices every time each one gets themselves killed, but that's not the only reason he wants Lucas alive.

Lucas, despite being a street rat with a bad mouth, is Averie's now.

And that may or may not be a good thing for Lucas.
