After being adopted at the age of 3, Kol has grown to accept her life. Nothing spectacular, but not boring either, considering the fact that she's a werewolf with serious parental issues...

She's 17 now, which means her first shift is going to happen soon, and then she'll find her mate. Even though she keeps her face stoic and eyes blank and pretends not to care, she can't help but wish that pretty boy Emmett might finally glance in her direction. It doesn't help that they've shared awkward stares back and forth for the past few months. Maybe it's a sign of something nobody is expecting. Who knows?
