Prologue

In a distant land, sheltered by a magic barrier, vampires, wolves, mermaids, witches and humans coexist in peace. This peace only exists thanks to the guardians, humans trained to maintain order and peace in Afterland. Phoenyx Rosethorn is part of the resident group of the Magno Academy, one of the greatest academies for guardians. She knows nothing about her origin, her biological parents, or why she is special in everyone's eyes. All she ever wanted was to be transferred to Alveus, where the great guardians are trained, but everything is about to change when three teenagers are transferred to the Magno Academy.
