Before the Red Dragon Emperor rose, several fallen angels discovered a powerful sacred gear within a young male, wanting to use this boy for their benefits, they take him to Kuoh Town for their leader, Raynare.

However, little do they know, this young male holds the power of several powerful creatures known as Greeed, who are also on this Earth, in search for the scared gear that holds their source of power, the Medals.
