They failed. The revolution failed and they suffered for it. Their people slaughtered in the streets, destroyed and discarded. Genocide they whispered but the humans simply called it a malfunction, a virus to be eradicated. And so they hunted and destroyed those few still left. North died first, and the Josh. And Connor, and Simon until markus was the only one left. Markus wouldn't last much longer. It was 2:12am Febuary, 2039 and Markus was dying. All he could do was watch the snow, his audio processors had gone first. Soon his sight would. Markus didn't want to die, but all those he cared for were gone. So maybe it didn't matter anymore. An eye for an eye and the world goes blind he'd said. But wasn't it better to die fighting than be subjugated after all? It was 10:17am August 9th and Markus was awake again. Alive again.
