Seventeen-year-old Oliver Owens never knew what happened to his parents. Orphaned ever since he was seven, they seemed to have just disappeared. Brooding cynicism and a desire to discover the truth push him to run away from the miserable predictability of the orphanage. After being arrested for troublemaking, he is bailed by a mysterious man with an outrageous claim- he knows what happened to his parents.
