Fun fact: I wrote this intending for it to be nice, but completely platonic. It can still be interpreted that way, but, bottom line, it came out way more ship-y than I thought it would, and now I ship Idd and Nix. I had barely entertained the idea before. My own story changed my mind (which probably shows how on the fence was about this ship), and I hope it changes yours, because the chemistry is real.
