Description
Eve has always been an independent wolf within her pack. She doesn't like much to be defended or treated like she can't take care of herself. It's for that reason that when Jay, a descendent in the Alpha bloodline, tries to make her his mate that no one believes she is not his. To them it is her attempt at maintaining her independence rather than giving into her mate. The problem is, Jay isn't her mate. None of the current pack members are; because her mate is Tristan, a human. Eve understands the danger in her forbidden love and tries for years to stay away but always gets drawn back in.
