Fred, George & Lacey have been best friends since the first year of Hogwarts. They met on the train and have been practically inseparable ever since. Fred had a crush on Lacey the second he laid his eyes on her, but pushed the feelings away to keep the friendship they had established between them.

Losing Lacey would be like losing a part of himself.
