Prologue

Evee is a thief eking out a living in 1950s Egypt. She encounters an enigmatic figure full of danger and mystery. His name is Alcinous and he is a Vampyrus. He is not what she thought vampires were like, has a terrible secret, and soon they begin to fall in love.

On a quest to find an incredible object of power in the pyramids, Evee and her new friend must battle for survival. But Alcinous is not the only creature of the night on the prowl, something dark and evil has been watching them and will soon make its move.
