In a chance encounter, these two troubled hearts meet and form an unlikely friendship that will change their lives forever. This is my first story on Wattpad and is a spin off backstory about two characters from my fantasy book series. If you like heart-warming character-driven stories with some angst, then I think you'll enjoy this. Trigger warnings for emotional/physical abuse, a bit of violence with blood, and themes of prejudice. There isn't a lot, hence why I don't think this is mature, but I wanted to include the warning anyway. P.S. To those of you who have read the previous version, it's pretty much the same. I just split the first chapter into two and edited some minor things. :) EDIT: Okay, so there's also some new content now as well since I added a chapter with new scenes.
