Dylan has lived in her small town in southern California for only a year, but she has made tons of friends. Everyone thinks she is amazing, but then her life falls apart when her mother adopts a little girl. Suddenly Dylan is in a whirlwind of things happening. Her father's cancer gets worse, her little autistic brother is being put up for adoption, and the last straw is something that will change Dylan's life forever. Her only escape is listening to her idol sing, and when that is taken away, her idol comes to her.
