Caroline lived in the middle of nowhere Texas. The people were rude, the roads were empty. Nothing ever happened in the middle of nowhere. Until... Brooklyn was a soldier. He was only 17 but his eyes were big and his heart was set. The life he lived before he signed up for the National Guards was a sad one. One without love, or life, or happiness. So when he signed up for the military, he saw an entrance to a life he could live and dwell in. But when he walks into the small country cafe and meets Caroline, his life flips all over again. With only two hours before the bus arrives to send him away across the ocean, the two keep each other company.
