Chapter 1

There once was a small boy named Billy Holmes. He enjoyed playing pirates with dog, Redbeard, and was fairly carefree, although definitely not as carefree as his only friend, Mickey. But one day, tragedy strikes and Billy all but disappears. Into his place steps Sherlock, cold and bitter.
