ROSE

Rose hates Luka. At least, she's convinced herself that she does. Because he hates her. He must, right? Because if he didn't, he wouldn't always be dumping mud on her head or pulling her braid or laughing at her with his friends.

But the thing is, that wasn't even the worst part about Luka. He didn't used to be mean to Rose. They used to be best friends. When they were kids, anyone could always find them together. But ever since Luka started playing leather-ball for the town youth team, ever since he made friends on the leather-ball team, all he's wanted to do with Rose is to pick on her.

Rose needs to learn to forgive and move on. Luka to act like a gentleman. Can they both learn to love without tearing each other apart?
