Chapter 1

A young boy named Michael Carris strays from the safety of his summer camp late at night. He wanders into the forest and gets lost (like an irresponsible child because yolo).

When he gets lost though, he discovers that he has powers he never knew he had. He also makes unexpected friends who train and teach him the ways of the wild, about the gods and goddesses of the Mixed-Soul culture, and about their magic filled world.

But something pretty bad happens, and Michael and his friends have to go on a journey he never could have imagined himself going into.
