I bite my lip while wiping away the tears that I just shed. "How are you able to smile all day?"

"They say that the eyes are the windows to our souls, mine just have their curtains closed." He replies.

"What?" I look at him confused, still wiping my tears away.

"Let's continue before your parents return."
