Chapter 1- Avery

A young woman, Avery Winters, has been abused her entire life by her pack. One night when her pack is attacked she finally gets the courage to shift into her wolf for the first time in years and run. When an Alpha, Cole Hunter, finds her and takes her to his pack she doesn't shift out of her wolf form. Avery doesn't feel safe around anyone even though come is her Mate. She learned from her father that even Mate's can be abusive considering he killed her mother. Will Avery ever feel safe enough to change into her human form again?
