She has trouble trusting people and hates to be yelled at, touched, or just flat out abused.
Ding Dong (Kevin) decided to adopt because he was tired of being alone and couldn't find a girlfriend, and couldn't have a child.
Chris and Julian couldn't find him a girlfriend so they did the next best thing, adopted.
