"Alright." Steve nods, looking down at Manhattan, New York. "If you think that's what's best." I turn to Steve, making him look at me. His blue eyes are so sad. "I don't wanna be away from you and you don't wanna be away from me-but HYDRA, if not now, will be out looking for Carver. I have to keep all three of my babies safe, Steve. I don't want to hurt you." Steve kisses me, holding onto me as I begin to cry. I don't want to leave him. I don't want to leave my family behind. I don't. But my children's safety comes first. And it won't last forever. I hold onto Steve, my head buried into his muscular chest.
