He looked at me curiously. "Are you okay?" I shook my head. "I'm not really okay. You drive me crazy." He stepped a bit closer, narrowing the gap between our bodies. "Good crazy?" he asked as he leaned forward and kissed me just below my ear. "Good and bad," I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Let's focus on the good," he whispered in my ear. ~~~~~~ This is a novella. If you don't know what that is, it's simply a long short story or a short book. This fic started out a short story and kept growing, so here it is standing alone. The story examines whether you can love and hate something (or someone) at the same time. Or does one feeling have to win out in the end? Shawn Mendes is a famous singer/songwriter in this piece but there's very little focus on his career. The timeframe is vague so nothing really matches up with actual events that have happened in his life. This story has slightly more mature elements than my other writing, so if you're under 14, stop reading now. But seriously, use your own judgement.
