Ivykit and Icekit, daughters of Willowfur and Blackclaw, see life as simple nursery games. But as they grow older, it turns into night; cold and cruel.
Two newborn kits, Hawkkit and Darkkit, bring with them something worse than the sisters could have imagined.
Hollystar recieves a prophecy from StarClan: "When ivy traps the hawk's beating wing, ice will fall and darkness shall reign."
