Optimus is still heartbroken over the loss of his last boyfriend Ratchet, who was killed in a car crash. He recently moved to Texas to get away from his abusive mother Quintessa and his enabling older brother Megatron. Things are looking up for him when he meets a guy by the name of Cade Yeager, a single father of a teenage daughter named Tessa. Sparks fly between them and love blooms. Until Optimus's family comes knocking saying they want him back.
