Description
Life begats death, at least that's the motto of Evelyn Legrand. On a daily she tries and helps trapped spirits housed within dolls, puppets, and even death masks find peace or some closure. Most days she seems far to busy to focus on anything besides work and her recovering health. Spirits continue to open mysteries that she is driven to solve. But when Howell, the owner of an enchanted puppet, crosses her path Evelyn's days are never the same. Howell is artistic, over confident, outgoing, and well versed in playing the flute. He is polite and kind but also dismissive. Even with his albinism he strives to make a name for himself in the world of music. Although his habits are flighty, and he tends to go from one woman to the other without hesitation. Between his teaching, his contract with the Royal Orchestra, and his street show, Howell has an endless career ahead of him. What happens when a magic puppet, and a few other darker forces make them to cross paths again and again? A new world of light, laughter, and even love is revealed.
