Description
Ever since Aiyana and her older sister's parents died in a car accident, they've been living on the streets with no place to go and no guaranteed place to sleep. All they have is each other and they're special powers. Nara can control water while Aiyana can control things with her mind. One day, they get kidnapped by a cult of vampires who want to use them for their powers. Aiyana escapes, but Nara disappears in the process. A mysterious boy tells Aiyana that Nara is dead and takes her to a place called the Academy. As she goes through her unfamiliar feelings for a shape-shifter, her destructive power, a group of vampires hunting her down, and her grief over her dead sister, Aiyana can only think about two important questions: Is Nara really dead? And will she ever be truly safe?
