Description
Jace Herondale was always taught to guard his heart, by no one in particular but growing up in foster care will teach you that. You never know how long you'd get to stay in a particular house or where you are moving to next. But that all changed when he was 13 and he was placed with the Lightwood family. He was guarded for a long time but they showed him love and what a family was. But as he grew it was still the same boy he was, maybe a little more cocky and confident but underneath all that he still trusted very few people. Clary Fray grew up with parents who loved her a mom who gave up everything for her and her brother and a stepdad who treated them like they were his own. But as Clary grew up her life got more difficult especially when it came to her brother who she loved, but sometimes doesn't know where he stands. Clary's trying to balance her family, school, and her brother's secret from their parents. But when everything slowly comes to light can she do it alone? Jace and Clary have their own personal problems, but something brings them together and slowly makes them closer. Will it also tear them apart?
