After the Final Problem's misadventures, John and Sherlock were back to solving crimes, as usual. Just when it was starting to get boring, things got out of hand. An abduction, new riddles and old memories resurfaced. Wounds re-opened and an old enemy shows up, one last time. It will be Sherlock's biggest challenge to finally be able to let his emotions guide his deductions.
