Both live in a small town in Juniper, Texas where the town is separated into two groups: Riversiders, the poor/gang affiliated, and those who are not.
These two complete opposites meet each other during their final year of high school, both with huge choices to make in the Spring that will change their lives forever. With gang violence at an all time high, both students will be forced to see the world through the other's eyes where they find they are not so different as they thought.
