Bettys mother had always said to stay away from the Southside. The Southside had a gang, the Southside Serpents.
Bettys mother also said she had to be perfect. She always got good grades, she'd never got in trouble, and she'd always stay out of trouble.
She didn't like that her mother always told her what to do, but she never did anything to stop it.
But then she met Jughead, and all that changed.
Jughead, he was described as the bad boy, the loner outsider from the wrong side of the tracks. He is also the leader of the Southside Serpents.
