Taking place during the events of Mortal Kombat X.
Helped by Rain, son of the god Argus and prince of Edenia, Tanya, a skilled Edenian fighter, and the Tarkatas, Mileena, deadly heiress of Shao Kahn, leads a rebellion against Kotal Kahn, the current emperor of Outworld. (Y/N), a sorcerer and skilled kombatant that nobody heard of, will soon change the fate of Outworld by wanting to help Mileena.
