It's best not to mess with time.

Zelda has been searching for Link for years after sending him off for his personal journey he never returned from. She's the only one who believes he's still out there, everyone else has moved on but her.

She's stuck in a repeating cycle, her mind only focusing on one thing.

Link, on the other hand, has far less control over his own repeating cycle.
