Jesse is a 15 year old girl who lives with her big brother, Nathan, 19, after her mother and father had a fight 8 years ago. Her mother packed her stuff and took all the money in the house before left leaving Jesse and Nathan with their alcoholic abusive father. Nathan, who was only 11 when his mother left, took Jesse out of the house as soon as he was able. The two lived together for another year until one night a man jumps through her 2nd story bedroom window. Is he really just a man? He bites her and now Jesse is thrown into a world filled with slayer, vampires and supernatural powers.
