After Kassidys father helps The Evil Queen and the Dark One cast the dark curse a Pregnant Kassidy is ripped away from the love of her life Killian Jones.

Kassidy and her father live outside of storybrooke where time still moves forward. Kassidy gives birth to her son, Jack who she puts up for adoption not ready to be a single mother.

10 years later a boy shows up at Kassidys door claiming to be her son and telling her some outlandish story about reuniting her with his father and breaking a dark curse with True loves kiss.
