Chapter One: The name of trouble starts with a T

Everybody thinks Lucinda Mendel is a freak. With a messy family and a dodgy back ground, its hard to escape everyone's eyes. That includes Trent Hopkins. Unlike Luce, Trent is perfect. He's hot, popular, rich and he's everything that she isn't. He also likes to make sure that her life is hell 24/7.

But when Luce accidentally stumbles upon a secret that no one is supposed to, Trent isn't so perfect anymore. He's also determined to make sure that she keeps quiet. What starts with lowly threats and planned hijackings ends up in long evenings spent together and glances shared in the dark.

Luce eventually starts to see that imperfection is everywhere and you only need your heart to love someone.
