Chapter 1 - The Knower of Things

Growing up in a small prairie town frequently means have the same friends from birth to death (or at least until you leave town). Danni and Cordelia have been best friends for more than half their lives. Danni is loud and outgoing and loves being the centre of attention. Cordelia has always lived in the background, comfortable being the number two.

But is their friendship real or merely a product of their lack of options? When an opportunity arises that they both want, but only one can have, their friendship is pushed to the breaking point. Can they find a new balance or will this be the end of everything they've ever known?
