Prologue

America Fayette, a French-Canadian living in Darwin, Ontario finds herself falling for a slightly brazen but eloquent girl from Toronto named June Paisley. Soon after meeting, America finds that she and June have hit it off. They become closer until they're the best of friends, but it all changes towards the end of summer when people in town begin to turn up missing.
