Gold--it was the colour that never failed to capture a person's attention and fill their eyes with awe. As radiant as sunlight filtering through the clouds, it was the very face wealth. Nothing about it would have ever caused some to cower in terror At least, not until it was taken by the Deviants. Sparing so much as a glance at the golden patches that decorate the bodies of the rabid animals we call the Deviants is enough to rob a person's lungs of air. The creatures show no mercy. They wouldn't hesitate to leave someone writhing on the ground in agony, drowning in a pool of their own blood. The Deviants' sole purpose is to ravage the world and wipe out every last trace of human existence. It's clear that they won't rest until this has been achieved. They want us gone for good, but sadly for them, some of us refuse to go down without a fight. After all, the choice is ours.
