Description
This is a sizzling short story and the cool thing is that Mr. Kennedy has more of these hot stories, tales like: [[ASIN:B00AXO6SGI Peppermint Oil]],[[ASIN:B00AUZJNLM A Phalanx of Swine (Sex, Love & Romance In Venice Beach)]],and so on, just search T.D. Kennedy in the Kindle Store. This one grabbed me right up fast, right there on Amazon. The cover was classy, so different, like something on a real old Vanity Fair cover, so different from all the rest, like one of those old 40's movies. I wanted to zip into a fast, exciting read, but wanted more than the lame stuff that's all over the place. I wanted a story because I was cramped for time. So thinking, "Where I Thought I Was Going," what's that? What a weird title like a cross between a soap opera and a Zen Koan. I had to see more and punched Amazon's Look Inside button: "And don't call me Kimmy; it sounds like some oddball Chinese desert." Her head rang. She felt vacant, as if suspended in diving gear at one of those thermal vents on the bottom of a dark sea where they find weird glowing things. That same feeling that swarmed over her as a girl of six when her mother and father fought so much. . . ." The cover and the opening were way different from what's out there on the covers when you scroll down on an Amazon search. It was marvelous to discover a gold mine of new reading. All the rest of T.D. Kennedy's stories grabbed me. . . no, I'm not going to ruin the surprise for you; it will blow you away. This writer does jump off the page with all his sizzling short stories. You won't get bored and slam your Kindle down. Sex, Love, Obsessions, Passion, Romance and the freaky lives of ordinary folks living in the heart of the entertainment capital, on the West Side of Los Angeles, the movie industry: this is a cross section of the wild people that live there. I just hope he's gonna do a lot of them, for a long time. That's the one thing I don't like, the thing of not knowing if they will keep coming.
