When Jane Aspen passes away, her only known relatives, daughter and granddaughter Heather and Elita, spend one last summer in Jane's home while they prepare to sell it. With Heather busy dealing with the aftermath of her mother's death, Elita gets more than she bargained for when she finds a box containing some of Jane's most personal possessions, including a diary from her teenage years and a silver locket with a story of it's own.
