She kept trying to shout something at me, but everything was still in slow motion making it almost impossible for me to understand. It was not only until she was a couple of meters away that I finally could make out the words by the outline of her lips. "Behind you" ~ * ~ Mika is not the clear definition of 'normal'. At 24-years-old she had only a dusty high school diploma and a house full of memories...or so she thought. Raised by her grandparents, Mika's life and her sister's was predictable, dull but still, it was safe. Safe started to become a distant word with a lost meaning since some strange men moved next door. Mika began to feel like her sanity was roughly tested with every passing day. Add her struggle to get her life back on track after her grandmother's passing and Mika's life is guaranteed to take a turn for the worst.
